Steve is married to Mandy and is father of Isabelle, Aiden, and Carolyn. He was trained at Mid America Reformed Seminary and received his doctoral degree at Covenant Theological Seminary. Before taking the call to plant Sojourn in Sterling Heights he served as lead pastor of two other churches for over fourteen years. Pastor Steve’s passion is to help people see the amazing grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and how that grace shapes all of life.

Tiffany grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. She earned her Bachelors of piano performance at the University of California, Los Angeles and Masters of piano performance and pedagogy at Northwestern University. In her professional career she performs with instrumentalists and chamber ensembles while maintaining a private teaching studio. David studied music at Northwestern University and has been a professional classical trombonist since graduating. David moved to Detroit to join the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and has grown to be a member of the vast musical community across southeast Michigan.

‭ Mandy grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago.  She earned a degree in Child and Family Services from Purdue University.  She has been working with children since she was a teen, as a VBS Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Daycare Teacher and Elementary School Substitute Teacher.   She moved to Sterling Heights with her husband Steve, who is the Pastor at Sojourn, and her two children Isabelle and Aiden.  One thing Mandy really enjoys about working with children is praying with them and hearing their child like faith.
